Calling all young scientists, innovators, inventors, and creators for a career day—from the futures! Get advice and inspiration on the jobs of tomorrow and beyond from the experts, ask questions from gamechanging women at the top of their fields, and learn more about the fun and possibilities in store.
Tour the opening day of IF/THEN She Can, a monumental display of more than 120 3-D printed statues celebrating contemporary women innovators in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), the most statues of real women ever assembled in one place.
From 12 to 3 PM, stop by AIB’s Futures that Inspire Hall for 10-minute “Lightning Round” pop-up talks to hear directly from women who have become global superstars in their STEM fields, talking about starting careers in science, surprising things they wish they’d known, and cool “fun facts” about different jobs. Then, from 1 to 4 PM, get your questions ready for “The Scientist Is In,” a chance to meet-and-greet with the incredible women of IF/THEN She Can as they stand in front of their statues.
Plus, enjoy tours of the “FUTURES” exhibition highlighting women of STEAM, from NASA Apollo software engineer Margaret Hamilton to AI artist Stephanie Dinkins and beyond.
