Fridays@FUTURES: Juneteenth Liberation Dialogue

June 24 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Start your weekend off right every Friday with a generous helping of fun and surprising brain snacks. ‘FUTURES’ is open late, plus bonus drop-in tours and special guests.

What is the future of black liberation through the lens of commemoration and dialogue? How can people of color celebrate national holidays like Juneteenth, and claim space through tactical urbanism and imagined utopias like Soul City. Join FUTURES social justice curator Monica O. Montgomery for an enlightening dialogue with historical strategist Free Bangura about creative place keeping and ancestral remembrances with creative community expression.
